With the less emphasis on the decorations and more emphasis on sound and playability the G-65 is the work horse of the Gallagher lineup. A variegated woodstrip joins the book-matched rosewood back. The nut and the saddle are made of bone for maximum durability. Black and white wood inlay borders the top and sound hole. The body is bound in ivoriod. The ebony fingerboard is unbound and accented with mother -of-pearl round position markers. The headstock is unbound and inlayed with a mother of peal “G”. This guitar is carefully constructed of solid woods to provide a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
