A set of one bridge blank and one fingerboard blank cut from quartersawn persimmon, local to us in Tennessee. Persimmon, Diospyros virginiana, is a dense hardwood native to the Southeastern U.S., making it a good substitute for ebony. It can by dyed dark if you’d like to maintain the look of tradition ebony.
